React Server Components in anger: a year of production lessons

A year after we shipped our first RSC app, here is what worked, what did not, and what we will do differently on the next one.

What worked

Initial-load performance, simpler data flow, and a smaller client bundle. The wins are real.

What did not

Streaming UX is harder than it looks. Caching headers across edge networks become the new front-line.

What we would do differently

Smaller blast radius for our first RSC adoption. Move 1–2 routes, not the whole app.
